ok people!

i am not sure what is going on-i think it might be broken...but my scale is going up instead of down.  is there a repair shop for such things?  ;~)  i am sure it wouldn't have anything to do with our my trip to dewey's on sunday eve or the quick stop to the whipty do do do?  thank goodness we walked around all day and swam the last two nights-otherwise those numbers would be even worse. (is it possible?)  i guess i've been on a little bit of a break from my good eating habits since we left on vacation, and now that the scale is "broken" i really need to get back on the saddle.  tuesday's have typically been my weigh in day.  so i am taking it one day at a time.  hopefully i'll like what next tuesday brings... 1*9 looking for 1*6.  really looking for like 1*0-but we'll take it one day at a time, one week at a time.

last night i spent two fun filled hours at the grocery store.  i think i've commented before how i don't hate going-its just the prep of the list and the fear of forgetting something.  oh the insanity!  i've been doing pretty well lately with coupons.  i try to use as many coupons for the items we typically buy as possible.  but
have you seen those crazy insane couponers on tv, talk about insanity.  no lie-last week i ran into the store to pick up a salad before my class and saw this chick with a cart filled with pringles.  i really didn't think much of it, figured it was for a party or work or whatever.  in my job its not bizarre to have to buy large quanities of items to feed hundreds of people.  as i checked out, i heard the cashier telling everyone that the chick had pretty much gotten the pringles for free-because they had been on sale AND she had a coupon that she used for each one and it doubled because that's what the store does.

OK-i see the thrill in this, but really does anyone  need a whole cart full of pringles?  NO.  and from my experience the only way to get those extra coupons is to use a coupon service (which i think costs money-those shows don't tell you that) or i think some of the people write to the company-but i can't imagine they send you 100s of coupons.
i don't know about you all-but i just don't have the time to spend coordinating and collecting all of these things.  i think time might be worth more than a cart full of pringles i'll never actually eat.  just sayin'
