20 Questions to Ask a Girl
What is your biggest pet peeve?~hmmm....there are so many. lately its my husbands lovely habit of leaving paper towels lying around the kitchen. i don't understand why we don't throw them away....ugh! oh this probably wouldn't be the most appropriate answer for a first date.
What were you like when you were a kid?
~well, i was much shorter, wore glasses (it was the 80's so they were honkin' big glasses). oh this question is what was i like, not what did i look like-um..dorky?
What was your most embarrassing moment?
~wow, i am not sure i can even narrow this down to one and why i would want to pour my heart out like this on a first date i have no idea...but i would probably have to go with getting divorced so young. it was really hard and extrememly embarrassing for me to have to tell people. of course i am over it now; but often wonder how this will come up when i have to tell my kiddos. hmm... again, not really first date appropriate. this guy totally hates me.
What was your most favorite toy?
~i LOVED barbie and her condo. it had an elevator, uh huh!
Which car would you be and why?
~ok, this is a totally stupid question...a vw bug? i dunno.
If you had so much money that you wouldn't know what to do with, what would you do with it?
~ok, now i see why this guy agreed to go on a date with me, i am loaded. i am sure i would donate money to my favorite charities and make sure my family was taken care of.
What's the best piece of advice you've ever received?
~i don't know if words were ever really said, but i just learned from a few good people that if you do work hard and you act the part, you'll become the part. it just takes a little bit of confidence and when you have a good mentor it totally helps!
If you could live anywhere other than here, where would it be?
~well, hopefully this guy doesn't think we are ready to move in together yet, but given my financial situation he might be looking for a free ride...i got his number. umm...i think dream living is close to water and some place a bit warmer.
What's the rule you're proudest of breaking?
~now, i don't think i am going to answer this one. what if he's an undercover cop or worse a narc of some sort? hmmm...ok way back in the day (like 5 years ago) i am pretty sure i may have or may not have gotten a few cases of soda pop for free. i may have not purposely put them on the scanner at the grocery store and the cashier might not have seen them? omg...don't tell anyone! seriously? YES!
Do you think people who cheat on a test cheat in a relationship, too?
~no, not really. i am always surprised at people who cheat in a relationship, always disappointed in them. i don't know if i feel the same way about cheating on a test-i guess it depends on what kind of test it is. in the end i guess morals are morals though. is this guy asking this; because he is planning on cheating-its not even been one full date yet? ugh...dating sucks!
Are any of your close friends married? Does any of them have children?
~yes, most if not all of my close friends are married...a few single ladies out there though and no they wouldn't want your number. props to you girlies! yes, most of them have children...is this guy hoping to babysit? wierdo!
What is your most favorite piece of clothing?
~well, this changes. sweatpants and a t-shirt are most comfy...but do i look my best in those? no... is this guy hoping to borrow something? "don't be a drag, just be a queen!"
If you had an extra hour in a day, how would you spend it?
~cuddling with my honey and my baby boys. hope this dude is fine with that?
What is the most dangerous thing you have ever done?
~wow. i am totally lame here because i don't typically do anything that might require it to be described as dangerous. i am just boring that way. the other day greg and i walked into a new construction house in our neighborhood, that was soooo dangerous. yes....hubs is my husband; do you have a problem with that?
Do you prefer playing or watching sports?
~these days...watching. it could become dangerous to see me actually playing something.
Except for this one, What's the worst date you've ever been on?
~glad he said it, and not me. umm....there were so many? not really. once i had taken this horrible medication and it got me totally sick. i spent the entire night in the bathroom...while my date sat at that table. i couldn't help it. sorry!
Do you wear pajamas to places other than at your house?
~well not typically...but i have to pick up things like donuts on a sunday morning.
Do you sing in the shower or in the car?
~only in the car, only alone-usually.
What is the one thing would I 'not' know about you at the first meeting?
~tons of things...but since you asked me all of these questions-you now know more than some of my friends.
What is your favorite movie of all time, and how many times have you seen it?
~hmmm...i like a lot of movies and i don't think i can say one single movie. LOVE: dirty dancing, top gun, steel magnolia's, etc...
