so, if you recall last week i was talking about waiting on the post office to get my thank you notes out to family that came to doodle's bday party...ugh still no stamps (i could have stopped at the post office fifty times by now) so...thankfully darling husband had some extra's and i can finally get them out the door-they've only been sitting on my counter for over a week, patiently waiting.
i am not a patient person and have trouble waiting for things...when i decide i want to do something i typically want to start doing it right then and there. i sometimes have troubles focusing while i am at work because a thought has popped into my head and suddenly i have the urge to start painting a piece of furniture...well-sitting at work; working isn't going to get the project started and by the time i make it home and get the kiddos dinner, baths, etc... the chance to do what i really wanted to do for that day is gone... oh not complaining-projects will get complete one check mark at a time-someway, somehow. don't be surprised if i call you in the middle of the day with a random question-its probably because the random thought made its way into my train of craziness. ;)
my little boogers were a bit whiny last night-most likely because they are both refusing the take any sort of nap at the daycare school. so by 6:30-7:00pm EVERYONE including mom and dad are finished. doodle melting down in the highchair because HE was finished eating and we weren't...kman opted to not finish his burrito and missed out on easter candy...if this trend continues he'll be getting the same recylced candy next year. (we just don't eat it at our house-probably best!)
i did manage to spend twenty minutes or so in doodle's room trying to put his winter shirts away and get out the summer stuff i had accumulated. it was helpful to know what he'll still need. doodle "helped" by pulling every piece of clothing out of the bins that i had neatly placed in...thanks bub! :) hubs and kman managed to spend those twenty minutes outside practicing t-ball on the sidewalk...it had downpoured for about an hour before that.
tonight i am having dinner with two of my best gal pals "jw" and "cc". i haven't seen them in forever and haven't had any friend time in a while....i am so looking forward to seeing them.
