oh my aching back!

ugh!  my trip to lowe's on sunday to pick up the sand for the sandbox really did a doozy on my lower back and legs.  yesterday it was my legs-today its my lower back; which unfortunately i seem to end up having issues with every now and again (thanks to a slip on some ice way a long time ago).  i think i need to spend my lunchtime workout stretching...i don't know if i can stretch for 30 minutes but it may just be what the doctor ordered today.

yesterday was crazy-i was so busy at work-things coming from all directions...but it was a good day though.  i fielded everything that was being thrown to me and still managed to complete everything that i wanted to accomplish.  AWESOME!  i love those days when i know i am just on top of my game or atleast feel that way.  hopefully today will be just as great!  (please, oh please, lots to do!)

so this is holy week for catholics and various other religions as well as the start of passover for those of the jewish faith.  i was just thinking about some of the things i've done for lent-which included donating two carloads of goods to the local Goodwill and Thrift Market (proceeds of the Thrift Market benefit Autism research and families), selling my old books to "Half Price Books" and donating the profits (which I'll send the check in today-my charity of choice is "The City Gospel Mission" (hopefully I'll get a chance to volunteer there this year!) and joining the Children's Hospital Prayer Team.  i think i gave myself an opportunity to help others and cleanse some of things that had been weighing me down.  my basement is still a wreck and i know i'll have other items to donate, i have boxes of things to sell and i'd still like to donate half of the profits to charity and i'll continue to be a part of the prayer team-why should these things end just because lent is coming to a close?
