Tuesday, March 1

...and here we start march

wowsers!  how did it get to be tuesday already?  wasn't it just saturday morning?  yesterday was one of those days at work where my to-do list kept growing and not a one check mark.  ugh so frustrating.  all these ideas and things to remember but nothing actually getting accomplished.  by the time we made it home yesterday evening the temperature had dipped down into the low 40s again and our nip of spring was gone.  this morning it is chilly but oh so sunny....i'll take it.

It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold:  when it is summer in the light, and winter in the shade.

my little doodle has a runny nose yet again (we were actually free of sickness for almost a week!  baby steps i assume?)  when i picked him up from the daycare school he just didn't even look good-a little weary and worn.  apparently he didn't take a good nap which he doesn't normally nap well there-but even worse than usual.  after dinner he got a steamy bath and the humidifier was full speed in his room.  i thought he looked a little better this morning; but hubs said he could tell he wasn't his "normal" self.  oh YIPEE here we go again. poor doodle :(

thankfully both boys hit the hay early and i was able to finish my mom's taxes and get into bed at a decent time-but again i didn't sleep well.  i was up every few hours and just could not get comfy.  i could hear doodle babbling to himself around 1:30am...he obviously didn't sleep well either.  i imagined he might be up for a reason-like a big blow out of some sort-but do you think i went and checked-nope...i guess at some point i fell back asleep. sorry dman

~hopefully tonight will be much better for sleeping-please sleep gods help a momma out!

tonight i am having dinner with my two besties of all time.  j & s....we haven't had dinner out since right after christmas.  we've seen eachother a few times since-but not with just the three of us.
hopefully all goes well on the homefront while i am gone.  (fingers crossed x)
