oh my gosh...we had a crazy "spring storm" last night; which is kind of crazy since its not even spring yet! total ups and downs. friday i posted that i woke up with snow on the ground and yesterday it had to hit a high of atleast 65 degrees. it started raining around 7:00pm last eve and it poured all night long. around 3:30am i woke up to thunder and lightening and crazy wind...the wind was howling... our gas grill which i would consider fairly big and hard to move-made its way half way across the deck. thank gosh it didn't get any further. so needless to say i am sleepy this am.
the fam had a good weekend, we were some-what productive and managed to get out and see and do some things as well. saturday i finished up the federal taxes which was a big check-mark off the to-do list...i guess me and every other person in ohio tried to file their state taxes at the same time...so no luck marking those off the list. i started this big purge of clothes for the boys. i started going through all of doodle's current clothes and clothes i have for the next size and summer-trying to figure out what i'll need to get him. (darn kid keeps growing!) thankfully last summer i started picking up some things i saw on clearance for him and at my fav store (once upon a child) so combined with the items i had for keller he probably shouldn't need much! (YIPEE!)
i am hopeful i'll get to the same stage for kman-but i managed to get last year's summer bin upstairs (thanks to hubby for lugging it up from the basement) and that was as far as i made it on that. hoping that he'll be ablet to wear most of last year's shorts.
saturday night we had dinner with our friends m & s and their little girl ar. the babies are only a few weeks apart in age and had fun sitting next to eachother...making sounds and mimicking one another :)
sunday we headed to chuck e. cheese first thing in the morning-seriously who knew that chucke's opened at 9am on sunday's. we didn't quite get there that early-but we were there by 10:30am...it was doodle's first time-so he got to do the slide in the baby area a few times and he rode a few of the baby rides. kman was still afraid of chucke and freaked out again when chucke touched his shoulder. (he mentioned to me this morning that he had a bad dream last night-hopefully it wasn't about chucke)
i manged to make it to the grocery store yesterday which is always a huge task. coupons and lists and making sure i don't forget anything-which i am sure i did :) since the weather was so nice last eve we used the grill for the first time this season...yum! best hammyburger i've had all winter (thanks hubbypooh!)
