22 weeks....

so hard to believe that i've made it over the half way hump.  that i am literally two weeks past the half way hump.  a little scary, a little exciting, soo much to do.

the good thing is that we are making progress, the to-do list is moving in the right direction.  the nesting has kicked in on my part and i think the hubs has a little bit running through him too.  i am sure a lot has to do with the nice weather and the ability to get outside, just having windows open and feeling the nice breeze come in makes me feel happier.  i've also managed to get some exercise in the last few weeks, i am not sure its making a dent in anything, but its gotta be making me feel better.

tomorrow we have an ultrasound scheduled.  this will be our third look at the little sweet pea, but our first opportunity to see its face, hands, feet and body.  i am nervous and excited all at the same time.  i have been saying lots of prayers for little baby to be healthy.  i am still in such amazement that there is an actual baby living inside me.  i've done this twice before and the wonderment is so crazy.  until i hold that little person in my hands it just doesn't seem real and even then the craziness that same little person lived inside me for so long is just too much to even try to explain.

in other news, i sent out my little d's third birthday invitation.  talk about crazy!  how is it possible that he is turning 3 already?  it really was only yesterday i remember holding him in my arms.  he's becoming such a big boy.  basically potty trained on his own. he's such an old soul.  he is finding the wonder in everything and asking so many questions.  too many questions.  talking so much.  wanting to be so grown up.  we aren't doing anything too spectacular for him.  just a family cookout.  he's just excited to have a batman cake, like his big brother did!
last night, i had to hit the grocery store and typically i don't really like to take either of the boys with me, because its just not all that fun, but dman really wanted to go.  he sat in the cart and actually helped me, he recognized so many of the thing we normally get.  after we were done he was sad that we had to go home, he wanted to go to another store.  he might just end up being my shopping buddy ;).

i am so excited by the green that is popping up around me, so thankful that the flowers/trees are blooming and the leaves are making an appearance.  life is so much better in green!
