18 weeks

hard to believe i am 18 weeks, with baby number 3.

i had a doctor's appt on wednesday and everything seemed fine.  heartbeat was nice and strong, baby even did a little flippy flop while the doctor was listening in.

i am starting to feel some "flutters".  according to one email i recieved baby is about the size of a pickle.  i am totally anti-pickle, but i guess thats decent.  i wonder if thats from top of head to bottom of feet or is that baby all smooshed in fetal position?  either way, happy 18 weeks little pickle.

this week i knocked a few things off the list, purchased carseat/stroller combo, purchased new curtain and matching cribskirt for babies room and purchased new bedding for kman.  now i just have to pick out colors for each of the rooms to get painted and eventually paint them.  tons of painting to do.  we have several pieces of furniture that are going to need to get painted and lots of flipping of furniture.  in my head, i have it all figured out, i think.

one day at a time though.  right?

thankfully, my morning sickness is making an exit.  atleast for most of the day.  i've stopped taking the two pills i was using in the morning to get by and only need something at the critical afternoon/evening time.  i've tried not to take it, and so far it hasn't been pretty.  hopefully, in the next week i'll be feeling good.  i can definately tell a difference in my energy level though.  its def risen.

i am so glad i am finally getting a bit of relief in this department.  the last few months have been so difficult and although i know things could have been much worse, it was really starting to take its toll on me.

i am just so very thankful for strong heartbeats, loving family and the sunshine today.  even though its a blistery 29degrees this 3rd day of spring, the sun is out and shining in the windows around me.
