yesterday afternoon i busted my butt to get on the road before the traffice hit, ran in and grabbed the boys from the daycare, rushed home to grab something quick for dinner, hurried kman to get his clothes changed and get his baseball gear on and then we ALL headed out the door only to make it to the park with a few minutes to spare and realize that the practices had been called off. UGH!!!!!!!!!! we had nasty storms roll through early afternoon but at 6pm the sun was shining. kman was pretty upset, he had been so EXCITED.
the cancellation probably ended up being a blessing, kman actually fell asleep on the 20 minute car ride home and was in such a mood after we arrived home, we sent him to bed early. he's been struggling to take naps at school and has been up the past few nights with a hacking cough. thankfully this morning he seemed well rested. i wish i could say the same for myself.
after the boys were both in bed, i played around with my camera. hubs was just hoping i didn't take a picture of him...but i did, well only parts of him =)
this is how my living room looks most evenings...my lovely doodle has pulled everything out of the baskets.
going back to photography class basics...what's the subject here? too many things going on...i think. hmm? since i didn't have my typical subjects (i.e "the boys") my other boys became the target; they weren't very excited about participating either. but i did manage to get a few cute pics of them.
aww....i love me my little bailey. hard to believe he is going to be 14 this summer. hard to believe i've actually owned something, feed it, taken care of it for 14 years? i remember when i first got bailey...my dad told me "dogs live a long time, are you prepared to take care of him for that long?" he wasn't supportive in my efforts
at first but eventually he was a staple. =) bailey and i have taken care of eachother!
