you are awesome

everyone needs a reminder now and then!  =)

so, we are t-minus 6 weeks away from doodle's 1st birthday.  so hard to believe that this time last year i was anticipating his or her arrival.  what a difference 46 weeks makes. 

last march hubs had spent most of the month in houston while kman and i held the fort down here at home.  i was exhausted and even though we survived i wondered each day how i would do it.  this year, this weekend i am embarking on new journey...a 5 hour car trip with my two little boys all by myself.  i am a little nervous, but i am 99% confident that we'll make it to and fro without a huge debackle.  (fingers crossed x) 

next weekend we are having family pics taken by my awesome co-worker dawn..so i spent yesterday afternoon looking for coordinating attire for the fam, well atleast the little boys.  the photo shoot is centered mostly on little d man, but i am hoping to get a few fam shots and a couple of the boys together as well.  these events drive me to high anxiety-dawn is so awesome...so i know they'll all turn out just darling.  (keep telling self this!)  =)

i can hardly belive its only wednesday, maybe its my anticipation of the long weekend?  its a busy week for us in general and the packing/laundry/etc is piled onto that.  hubs will be happy if i can get some laundry put away.  (ok, honey bear i promise to try and work on it!) 

have i ever mentioned hubs does most if not ALL the laundry for our fam.  he knows i don't really like it..so its just one of those things he took on way forever ago at the beginning of me & hubs =)  so long ago....another day, another story! 

anywho-did i also mention its quite possible i may have jury duty?  i have to call in a few hours to see if my services are needed.

good news!  i think we finalized our summer vacation.  YAHOO!  WOHOO!!!  HOLLA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  can you tell i am a wee little bit excited YIPEE!!!!  i can't wait!  the realization that summer is just around the corner reminds me that i REALLY need to start bathing suit shopping.  is there anything worse?  gym here i come again!  =)
