so last night for whatever reason i just could not fall asleep. i've been reading this really good book "heart of the matter" by emily giffin http://www.emilygiffin.com/books/heartofthematter.php
and it had just hit the climactic part and even though i stopped myself at a decent point i lay in bed tossing and turning...no sleep in sight. after rolling around for what seemed like forever i finally got up and went into the guest room to watch tv. eventually i fell asleep but man this morning i am just feeling it. ~back to my book though-complete drama. i have liked emily giffin's books in the past but this one totally hit close to home and thankfully i am almost finished with it, because its depressing me a tad bit. hopefully there is a happy ending.
kman FINALLY has his first t-ball practice tonight. i can't wait to see how this is going to go =) i FINALLY got the game schedule which is totally crazy. i know i am new to this-but i guess i was expecting something a bit more structured-games every saturday or whatever-but instead they are all different days and times. not ideal for a planner of my magnitude ;~) there was no mention of when practices would be each week-so i guess that's still up in the air too? really?
ok..i know you aren't as stressed about it as me but i finally finalized the outfits for saturday portraits! i know you are thinking, thank goodness i can sleep now-well you would think i would have slept like a baby having that task marked off the list (only have to return like a million things that we aren't going to wear! oh well...)
this morning i randomly blew doodle a kiss and he immediately put his hand up to his mouth as if he was going to blow me one too. he eventually did-so darn cute! melting my heart... what a sweetie. still can't believe his birthday is approaching. last year on 3/31 i was exactly 35 weeks pregnant and my office hosted a shower for me; it was nice and i was so appreciative. they are all great! doesn't the cake look yum? and ugh don't i look awful?
its funny how pregnancy drags on and on...it really is NEVER going to end. those last few weeks are daunting-but of course the baby arrives and then its warp speed. why can't it be the other way around?
