how is it that vacations are supposed to make you feel more relaxed and in the frenzy of getting home the relaxation flies out the window? thankfully the boys did great to and fro in the car (thank you God!) i only had to listen to the baby lullaby cd like one million times. thankfully i was smart enough to to bring my headphones for the kindle and the mr. speak and spell voice read my book to me-while baby lullaby blared in the background and the dvd player played. what a sight we were... =)
the weekend was a whirlwind, seeing lots those we hadn't seen in awhile and unfortunately missing others...
saturday we went bowling with my aunt, i am pretty sure its been atlease 5 years if not longer since i've dusted off my shoes...but i managed to get a few spares and 1 strike, so i wasn't completely horrible. we had the bumpers up for kman so i probably did even better because of that.
sunday we spent the day with relatives on my dad's side. lots of fun!
even though its nice to go away its ALWAYS nice to come back home. we all missed daddy LOTS. most awesome daddy cleaned the house while we were gone, (what's better than coming home to a clean house?) and got me some beautiful tulips (my favorite!) a lovely welcome home! =) (thanks, sweetie!)
now its back to the real world, getting up early, going to work, etc..etc..etc.. thankfully its tuesday already, and now i only have 2 million things to do =)
