is it really wednesday already? thankfully little doodle was able to head back to the daycare school...fingers crossed he is feeling tons better. he just looks better and his cute little smile is lighting up the room again.
i am not sure when i'll actually complete the task...but i just have the desire to clean every nook and cranny of the house. i even purchased a ton of new cleaning supplies yesterday (90% of them organic-non toxic...hoping this will be better for the boys and us in general...i converted hubs into a recycler many a years ago...so maybe this will stick as well??)
saturday hubs and i have tickets to the playhouse...so since grandma m is coming to sit for the boys..i am sure i'll be cleaning most of the morning-because that's what i do when someone comes over :) i can't help it...it just has to be clean. the end!
i hit a little milestone this week...i actually weigh LESS than i did before i had kman. YIPPEE!!! (it's only 0.5 lbs less...but GO ME!) many a salad's later i am almost back in all of my old clothes and feel like i could actually face the world in a bathing suit (maybe...last week i had planned on taking kman to the y...but didn't happen because doodle ended up sick-we'll discuss for this week) i am not sure exactly what happens to the body but even though i weigh LESS i still can't quite wear things i could before and feel like i need to lose atleast 10-15 pounds more to even be comparable? you mom's know what i am talking about. one of the many small sacrifices that we make to end up with those lovely bundles of joy :)
tonight kman has swim class and i am praying that we don't have a meltdown before the lesson again...hopefully we've moved past that... when i signed him up for t-ball this weekend i was really worried that i flushed 125 buckaroonies down the drain-i am hopeful he'll know someone from his class on the team, surely he'll have too??
an everyday moment....kman has been struggling a bit with the potty and accidents...when we started the potty training at 2 years old-i never imagined it would still be an issue at 4. (he really did have a HUGE set back when d-man was born) anywho...it just seems like he gets lazy and its ALWAYS a huge struggle to get him to go to the potty-one less fight i'd love to have. last night we talked to him again about it and this time i threw in the fact that he just can't be having accidents if he is going to play baseball. i think it might have gotten through to him because immediately he asked "do they have a bathroom there?" YES! of course they do...and "Mommy and Daddy will take you if you need to go-OK?" hubs immediatley stepped up and said (this is SOOO Why I LOVE him) "Mommy or Daddy will be at EVERY baseball game, soccer game, whatever...we'll be there watching. Ok, buddy?" melting my heart :)
