thursday already

i am not really sure how it got to be thursday already, phew...  do not get me wrong, i am happy that tomorrow is friday, WOOHOO! it's just been a busy week and still more to do.

the weather has taken a turn...you know its still warm , 60ish today.  but remember i told you i was running around like an idiot trying to get the shorts and the sandals out and guess what...it got cold again.  so, i feel like we are in limbo.  i still have piles of clothes in the boys room...which pile do i pull from today?

i am still in denial that sunday is actually april 1st.  where in the heck did that come from?  geez, louise.  that puts me about a month out from doodle's 2nd birthday.  i am thinking small and easy.  that's what i said last year and you know how that went...i worked for weeks on a cake.  (this year i am thinking cupcakes?)  really though, i am thinking small.  hopefully the weather is nice and we can cook out.

busy weekend ahead... a good friends wedding tomorrow night, date night saturday night, and sunday dinner with friends that we  i haven't seen in forever.  should be good. and before we know it monday morning will be here....
