organizing the cards

i am not sure i've ever discussed my card addiction.  you do know that i tend to keep the post office in business.  especially now with my real estate gig, i should be in some kind of frequent stamp buyer loyalty program. 
the hubs literally gets another grey hair everytime he sees another purchase with USPS. 

well...somewhere along the way i decided it was best to do my card shopping on a bi-annual basis because i just didn't make it to the cardstore all that often, probably because i become a mom and life got busier.  the last year or so, since baby #2 i've been trying to make it an annual thing. 

when i went and bought all these things i had to have some way to organize them.  so i bought a cute 3 ring binder

and then i filled it with sheet protectors

i labeled each one with a month and birthdays or holidays to remember that month.  i sort the cards and then its easy to pull out the particular card i want to mail for whomever. 

i did my annual shopping yesterday

(hopefully hubs misses this post...or else he'll be having anxiety about all the stamps we'll be buying!)

i can't shop for every single holiday, (ie mothers day, fathers day, easter, etc...) because the cards just aren't in the store, but this helps a ton.  typically easter and halloween i send out a photo card of the boys anyway.
