oh my, last week was a week of emotion.
losing my aunt, dealing with doodles stitches (minor compared to everything), running to and fro another city quickly, coming home to host a bachelorette/wedding shower, signing my first listing on a house in my neighborhood and somewhere in all of that just living and breathing and taking care of me and the hubs and the little ones.
YES, can you BELIEVE it? i have my first ever listing. its a bit crazy. i can hardly believe it. obviously, i didn't really share that with my customer. i hopefully talked a good game? hubs told me to say "well, i've never really had anyone ask that before?" and i felt like i said it a bunch...they are a bit high mainetenance anyway, so it worked in a few of the situations well, because i really think they are asking me to do things not quite "normal" so even if this were my 50th listing, i probably could have said "no one has ever asked me to do that before?"
coming along with this is a bit of pressure. suddenly i feel like my business is booming or atleast it feels that way. its a bit overwhelming and i just want to make sure i give 100% to everyone. not sure that is possible.
yesterday, i tried to spend some time with my boys...they'd had a rough few days as well. we've all had colds, they weren't sleeping in their own beds, we were all tired of being in the car. we just needed to be home and be normal.
kman opened one of his christmas presents, it was similar to something i had when i was growing up.
do you recognize these?
i was a bit disappointed in the quality of the toy...and i'll tell you if i had to pick up one more of the little pegs off the ground i was going to throw the whole dang toy in the trash, but besides the point, kman enjoyed it.

we spent a good 45 minutes putting all the pegs in the appropriate spots and wa-la....
as i was trying to put the darn thing in the box, i of course dropped it and there went all the little peg thingy's again :)
roller coaster week up and down. good things, bad things....in between things. life things.
