yesterday it was starting...last night it got worse and over night i was miserable.  yep...i've got a cold or a sinus thing or something.  UGH!  i am not going to complain too much because honestly i can't remember the last time i was actually sick...so i guess thats a positive, right?  little doodle doesn't seem to be doing that well either...he's got a cough and runny nose and i am guessing if my throat is hurting this bad, his is probably as well. 
sunday i ended up working in the nursery at church and who knows what kind of lovely germies are crawling all over that place? 

oh well...things could be worse!

still trying to narrow my choices down on a broker.  i never imagined this would be so hard.  the hubs and i worked on a pro's and con's chart last night and the good news is i really think i've been able to narrow it down to 2.  the bad news is i still can't decide.

hubs surprised me with an amazon gift card the other night, he thinks i need to relax...really?  yes-probably.  so i downloaded a new book to my kindle and the last two nights i've actually gone to bed reading instead of watching tv; which is so totally better for you.  maybe i can get rid of the headache i've had for the last month.  :)   (thank you my sweetie...i appreciate you thinking of me!  its just what the doctor ordered!)




if you read yesterday's post, you saw that i took the kids halloween pics on sunday, i just wanted to give a shout out to  Ritz Camera and their great website and the folks that work in their stores!  their customer service is awesome and they ALWAYS have great deals.  over the weekend, they were offering discounts on all enlargements.  i did 5 x 7 prints for 0.29 a piece.  Their website allows you to add text and such, so instead of a "card" i used the print to make my own halloween greeting card:

they even included envelopes for me, seriously?  thanks ritz!!!  on tuesday's and wednesday's they offer 3.5 x 5 prints for .06 each!  all of my relatives are out of town; so it makes it easy for me to send pics to them at a great price!
