i think i mentioned my wonderful friend who sends me the "thought of the day"; yesterday she sent this one and i just LOVED it.  its so true.  no matter what area of your life; be it your friends, your family or your co-workers EVERYONE needs encouragement.  everyone needs to know that you believe in them.  don't forget to remind yourself how great they are and then tell them!
