oh my friends its such a sad day, i guess the seasons are officially changing.
yes...i wore socks and closed toed shoes today. talk about the insanity. its currently about 54 degrees and well, that's just a little too chilly for my little piggies.
i like fall, i promise i really do. there's something about the crisp chill in the air that makes you want to have a nice frothy hot cocoa. fall is fun because i love pumpkins, i love halloween and candy corn and most of all, my birthday is in the fall. (did i mention the halloween costumes are complete and hopefully i'll get the boys out this weekend for pics!)
the unfortunate part of fall is its the opening act for winter and i don't enjoy the winter. sorry, me and mr. winter aren't the best of friends. i don't like it so cold you can't even feel your toes, driving around in the snow and ice, just thinking about it gives me an anxiety. blah!
typically i am so busy the last half of the year i probably don't notice the cold arriving; but by january its here and i am counting down to spring.
speaking of busy and such...i've begun the xmas shopping. YES! its not even october and i've purchased three gifts for the boys so far. i know this year will be crazy so santa really needs to get a move on!
