the bliss of a day in your lounging clothes.
so tuesday just before i left to go to the orthopediac surgeon (i'll tell you about that in a sec) the daycare called hubs to let him know that little doodle was running a 101.0 fever. (personally, we never saw the 101-but i think it hovered around 100 on our thermometers) so since i had the doctors appointment and class tuesday eve-hubs picked up the boys, but i ended up staying home with doodle yesterday and although he wasn't feeling quite up to par-pretty sure its all teething related-because he has no other symptoms, and his mouth is like a faucet-i had a nice lovely day hanging out at home.
i am pretty sure i couldn't do this on a daily basis, but i cold get used to once or twice a week. we caught up on a few of mom's dvr shows (doodle was really busy playing), he did get a cartoon here or there, we cleaned up the house a bit, in between tamtrums, (he was quite moody!), i took care of a few of my to-do list items that i needed to mark off. in the end it was a pretty gosh darn good day.
i didn't ever change my clothes, i still had make up smeared under my eyes...but oh well. some days are just gonna be that way.
today, hubs is home with doodle-thankfully no fever this morning. hopefully tomorrow he's back to daycare school!
so regarding my trip to the orthaepedic. oh about 9-10...maybe even 12 months ago my shoulder started to hurt. i had tendinitis there about 10 years ago, so i just figured it was a flare up. i tried doing stretching and lifting weights when i actually made it to work-out and honestly i haven't slept on my right side in months-because it hurts too much. so in the last week or so the pain has doubled...i am thinking a lot has to do with our vacation and carrying around doodle-but i am not completely sure-so i thought it was about time to get it looked out. the doctor isn't quite convinced its tendinitis and thinks it could possible be a tear. (OUCH-i wasn't happy to hear this) and i wasn't happy to hear that they want me to get an MRI. i've had one, once before and it freaked me out. i go tomorrow for that-which i've been freaking out about for the past two days. if it only lasted 5-10 minutes i would probably be ok-but its 45-60 minutes. that's a long freakin' time to lay still inside a small tube. (just sayin') oh and did i mention the doctor suggested i probably shouldn't carry around doodle. OK??? REALLY????? how in the heck is that possible. i've tried to keep him on my left side lately-but this just isn't reality.
