new beginnings

what a fab weekend!  friday i visited my bff's new little bundle of joy-baby "n" with my other bestie "j" and we had such a fun time loving on little baby and hanging out.

she's a doll baby!  surprisingly, i didn't have too much baby fever after i left which hubs of course was thankful for!  "j" and i had an awesome yummy dinner afterwards!

saturday kman had his final regular season tball game and he did awesome!  i am proud to say that not once did anyone have to yell at him to "stop playing in the dirt" or to "pay attention".  much improved from day 1!  kman spent the rest of the day and night with my mom-so hubs and i just had doodle to contend with.
we had a nice dinner out and at our local mexican joint (yum!) and later that night hubs had boys night out at the assumption church festival and i had chick flicks to catch up on-neither were oscar worthy and the second one i was almost falling asleep during-so i called it a night!

sunday we had family day at the church festival and enjoyed AWESOME weather-sunny and 78-SERIOUSLY?  fantastic!!!!

thinking about some folks today, that have recieved bad news and aren't quite feeling up to par.  lots of thoughts and prayers to them and here's hoping that there are brighter days ahead!
