june 15th for 10 years

so; last friday i had to make a trip to the franklin covey store because somewhere along the way my planner morphed into a july 1st start date.  so i've been spending the last few days updating and sorting through what to keep-what to get rid of and of course re-living what has already happened.  i USED to keep all my planner pages of years past and eventually i would have needed an entire room to house them all.  a few years ago i decided to just keep the calendar piece and i can still go back and reminise.

anywho...  this morning i decided to look back at the last ten years of june 15th:
2001/10 years ago:  Tickets to the Ensemble Theatre
2002/09 years ago:  Attended Jeff & Monica's Wedding w/ Hubs (after knowing him for um...16 days)
2003/08 years ago:  It was Father's Day and I celebrated it with Dinner out with my Dad
2004/07 years ago:  I had a 10am mtg with Diana (hope she's doing well) and a 3pm mtg regarding Renewals
2005/06 years ago:  shopped for misc wedding items (had my pew bow making party that following weekend-probably needed ribbon?)
2006/05 years ago:  12 weeks pregnant with Kman-hoping I'd make it through the day without pucking
2007/04 years ago:  drove home from Charleston, SC with my Mom and Kman
2008/03 years ago:  spent the day in Savannah, GA with friends "S", "J" & "H"
2009/02 years ago:  had a 9am staff meeting, went home and hung out with Samantha (our St Bernard) who was battling bone cancer.
2010/01 year ago:  home on maternity leave with 43 day old Doodle; had written Mom picked up Kman for a trip to the "new" McDonald's.

there is so much weaved in and out of those days and at the time it really just seems like an ordinary day and you never know that it could be a precursor for something else.  did i think 9 years ago at jeff & monica's wedding that hubs and i would be married with two little kiddos?  no.  i guess there is the hope that it grows into something else-but it was only 16 days in.  12 weeks pregnant with baby number 1; no ideas if its a girl or a boy and certainly no names in the mix then...  those last few days with samantha were bitter sweet-we knew she was nearing the end; but she still had spunk and a gleam in her eye!

present day i'll actually be making my trip to kroger and sam's tonight-change of plans from yesterday.  not nearly as exciting as other days-but you never know what comes next...
