my favorite prayer is the Serenity Prayer. it's simple and just and reminds us that we are all human and that some days we'll find ourselves in doubt or without will-but each day is new and we should enjoy it. discovering the beauty in the hardships and remembering that we can only control so much. letting go of that control will soon set us free.
"God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as teh the pathway to peace.
Taking as He did, this sinful world
as it is; not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to his Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in tis life
and supremely happy with Him
