my big guy

can i just tell you how sleepy i am today...i was so wishing it was a mistake that today was monday morning...we entertained all weekend which i am not complaining about~because i honestly don't mind doing it,...but the end result is just us all being tired.  i hated to have to wake the boys up this morning...they were so snug in their beds.  i am pretty sure early to bed is on the schedule for everyone this evening!  thankfully we have plenty of left-overs from the past few days so there is no cooking needed.

i was just realizing that with all the fun stuff we did this weekend i didn't take one single picture-shame on me!  i guess when i am hosting i am busy worrying about dinner, etc... that i forget to play photographer-i will certainly need to get better about that! OOPS! 

in the midst of all of our entertaining hubs and i did manage to get a few to-do's off our list this weekend:  much needed landscape weeding (hoping the landscapers will be starting soon...but of course its raining today), finalized kman's wedding attire for the wedding he's in-in two weeks,  (picked up the shiny shoes for him at the thrift store for $6.99 and they've never been worn and the stinkin' rental place wanted $20 buckos for a one time wear!  no thanks!) actually gave the cat a bath (umm...i am pretty sure the last time this occured we lived at our old house, so its been a few years now, he hated it but it didn't turn out too bad. 

here is kman looking so grown up in his wedding gear...the outfit i got him came with a bow-tie; but he'll actually wear a vest and a tie to match the wedding party.  now we only have to worry about him actually making it down the aisle (fingers crossed X)
