rain, rain go away...come again another day.

ok i totally get the need for rain and in no way am i calling for a drought-but COME ON...we've spent the entire winter inside and we are looking for some outside, sunshiny fun!  so it rained most of the weekend and now its cold.  last week it was down-right hot and humid almost 90 degrees one day-which i wasn't exactly jumping for joy about-but today the high is supposed to be 52.  somewhere in the middle (71ish degrees) would be absolutely perfect in case anyone is listening ;)

despite the fact it rained most of the weekend i would say we had a pretty great time at all of our scheduled events.  friday-kman and hubs did the zoo with grandma m, uncle a and great uncle j...kmanwas still talking about it yesterday...we all LOVE the zoo!  doodle and i made a quick trip to the goodwill and i managed to find a couple of too cute candle holders-once i figure out a spot for them i'll be sure to post about it. 

yesterday we went to the red's game and sat in the rain, thankfully it wasn't too-too bad-but it was chilly.  kman had a great time, but i think a lot of that had to do with the whopping huge sundae he had!  doodle wasn't quite as interested-so i think he'll stay home should we make it back this season.  because of the rain; i didn't take my camera (and the mounds of other "crap" we had tug along) but i managed to snap a few shots of the boys before and after the game :)

the bowl that the honkin' big sundae came in was the biggest hit.  kman was so EXCITED when we got it.  i am pretty sure the girl making the sundae had never attempted it before (or the manager might want to check her inventory-because she loaded it up) tall as could be, mounds of sprinkles and whipped cream and like 6 cheeries.  kman can't wait to go back!
