ok; so in case you stayed up late last night wondering if we ever found the gosh darn shoe.  YEP!  the first thing we did when we got home yesterday was start to look for it; hubs was convinced i'd just looked right past it (which is quite possible) but kman's room is not that big and seriously...how many places are there for a shoe to hide?  for whatever reason i remembered that we had changed kman's sheets the night before and BING something went off in my head...we probably picked up the shoe in the pile of dirty laundry!  YIPEE...the pair is reinuted again!  thank-the-goodness!

ok; so here is a picture of me sitting at my desk this morning with my new sweater on...i was loving my new sweater-until i realized i was blending in with my crazy ivy plant.  that crazy plant is like a million feet long now.  my boss gave it to me as a present on my first day and now its over taken my back wall and several of its arms are in the cube of the person behind me.

 i really don't have any type of green thumb-i honestly don't even water this gosh darn thing-my boss does.  she just always has...so i just let her do it.  personally; i think she over waters it-but we'll just keep that opinion to ourselves for now =)  it was kind of funny when it first started growing so crazy-but now i am just kind of embarrased by how massive it is.  we are supposedly moving to a new building in about six months-so i really want to cut it before then.  maybe i'll cut it back, little by little and maybe no one will notice ;~)

so also behind me on the wall back there is one of my favorite sayings ever and totally sums up my "line of work"

"ACCEPT THAT SOME DAYS YOU ARE THE PIGEON,

its interesting to ponder; i seem to always end up the statue-but would i really want to be the pigeon?  in the end the statue stands strong and tall-the pigeon just does its thing and moves on.
