such a fun weekend. hubs and i had a double date night with our friends m & s on saturday night at the Red's game. so much fun. honestly, i didn't watch the game all that much, talked to "s" all night. but...i peaked out at the field every now and then :) i do know the Red's won and i was able to tell my mom the score later that night when we got home. he-he!
yesterday the weather was absolutely gorgeous...i LOVED it so. we played outside on the swingset for a bit and FINALLY got doodle's swing up-he totally had the best time ever-he was laughing so much. his brother loved pushing him.
hubs cut the grass, we all pulled weeds from the landscaping-it almost felt like summer. i even managed to cook two meals for dinner? uh-huh! i am totally loving the fact i cooked a whole chicken by myself. i thought it was going to be so hard, i guess that's why i have never attempted it before. but it was totally easy and tasted yummy-so now we have a couple of meals for this week. (perfect considering we'll be running around most of this week) and i cooked up a yummy sketti. i know spaghetti is totally easy and i've been doing that meal for years...but i make a special sauce and thought it tasted YUM. the boys thought so too...
as mentioned, this week is super busy. my (our) calendar is full! amazing! all good stuff though. no complaints. sunday is clear though and i am hoping that it remains that way and we can relax! (fingers crossed x) i am sure by then we'll all be pooped!
