i hope everyone had a great easter.  the boys had a fun time hunting for baskets (well atleast kman did).  the "easter bunny" didn't really hide doodle's basket; he kind of left it out for him since he's just a little guy; which kman didn't quite understand-since his was hidden somewhere else..

so when everyone was dressed (the boys atleast) we let them search for the baskets-kman was looking all around and just didn't see his-he even checked the garage.  because it wasn't in plain sight, he was worried that the "easter bunny" had forgot all about him :(

 and then....

 finally! he found it.  he was pretty EXCITED! oh my gosh!

doodle eventually spotted his too...but wasn't as excited, maybe next year!

bright and early easter morning while all my boys were still sleeping i worked on my practice cake for doodle's bday party.  it had been so long since i did any decorating i really needed to practice; so i tried a few different "tips" and found some combinations that i ended up liking and i think it should end up turning out great for the party (fingers crossed X)  it actually tasted pretty yummy too.  (total plus!  ha-ha!)
