happy valentine's day!
so glad the new week is starting off and will hopefully be a good one. sunday was beautiful-this weekend was absolutely AWESOME...i can hardly believe i was able to open my windows a bit yesterday. it was rather nice to get that air moving around in the house and hopefully get those stinky germs out!
YES, i picked up my sweet little doodle up from daycare on friday with a low-grade fever and a horrible cough that lasest all weekend (my valentine is home with him today-thanks dear!). poor doodle was miserable most of the weekend-he wasn't himself. here's a snapshot of his attitude most of saturday and sunday (the dog doesn't look much better off :)
kman and i did however get to do some projects that were a bit fun-we made delived eggs..he had shells EVERYWHERE and ate his batch as soon as he got finished filling them
we also worked on his school valentine's-"starbursts candy"...i am sure he'll be LOVING valentine's day after his school party today...all the sugary goodness
and last night after my yummy pot roast we made laffy taffy apple pizza. i had an idea that i might make the pizza into the shape of a heart...but i was lucky enough to get it into a circle-ish shape so i wasn't going to press my luck ;)
i am no further along on the organizing projects i was hoping to get accomplished around the house, but hubs and i did get a few things marked off our list. small-but things that needed to get done...so all in all a pretty good weekend. next weekend hubs and i have tickets to the playhouse, so i am looking forward to us actually getting out and not spending the whole entire weekend at home.
